The Rick Hall Fame Recording Collection

Muscle Shoals Alabama - Rick Hall’s credits include producing and engineering hit records for Aretha Franklin, Bobbie Gentry, Joe Tex, Wilson Pickett, Clarence Carter, The Osmonds, Mac Davis, Duane Allman, Etta James, Alabama and many more.  Mr. Hall started in Florence Alabama with partners Tom Stafford and Billy Sherrill.  The trios business was called “Florence Alabama Music Enterprises.”

After two years of moderate success the partnership dissolved and Hall moved to Muscle Shoals, carrying with him the name of the publishing company, which he shortened to FAME.
